Leandro Trossard scored the decisive goal as Arsenal beat Fulham 1-0 in the London derby at the Craven Cottage.
The Gunners moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League following the hard-earned victory.
Manchester City, who defeated Everton 2-0 earlier in the day dropped to second position.
Liverpool, who will host Manchester United at the Anfield on Sunday are four points behind in third position.
Trossard netted the winner from a header two minutes before the hour mark.
The Belgian bundled home from close range at the back post after Gabriel had flicked on Bukayo Saka’s second-half delivery.
