By Gracious Akujobi Nigeria Ambassador to DR Congo Grant Echiobuche has assured Premier League Champions and Nigeria’s representative at CAF Champions League, Kano Pillars FC of total support in Kinshasa.
Grant was addressing the players and officials when he visited them at the Tata Rapheal Stadium on Friday after the team’s first training in Kinshasa as they arrived late Thursday night.
The Envoy urged the team to ensure they go all out for a win or get a favorable result in Sunday’s match against their host AS Vita to put them in a good stead in the return leg in Kano.
In his response, the Technical Adviser of the team, Okey Emordi pledged that his boys will do their best and leave the rest to God.
Emordi thanked the Ambassador and the Nigerian Embassy for the good gesture they have shown the team since its arrival at Kinshasa.
