By Gracious Akujobi Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Gbenga Elegbeleye has charged the Super Falcons to put in their very best so as to beat Rwanda and also go ahead to win the Africa Women Championship.
The DG made the charge when he paid a visit to the national Under-15 boys at their training in Abuja and decided to also see the senior national women team who were also training at the FIFA Goal Project.
“I understand you girls have an African qualifying game with Rwanda next month, I trust you to beat them and go ahead to win the African championship.
“As the best team in Africa, I expect you to go to Namibia and beat all others and win the trophy. Not even Equatorial Guinea should be problem to you, so go there and conquer” he said.
Meanwhile, Elegbleye has promised to watch the Super Falcons play the national under-15 boys on Thursday by 3 pm.
