Mr. Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) visited the State House, Abuja on Thursday.
It could however not be ascertained if he had audience with President Muhammadu Buhari as the latter was said to be in a meeting.
Mr. Magu, did not also speak with State House correspondents after the brief visit.
The EFCC Chief on Wednesday said more influential Nigerians would soon be arrested and arraigned for corruption charges in the weeks ahead.
His mission at the Presidential Villa is not cleared but the EFCC earlier in the arrested a chieftain of the ruling APC, retired Brig Gen Jafaru Isa, who is believed to be close associate of the President.
