The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday arraigned a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Haliru Bello Mohammed, before a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Mr. Mohammed, who arrived the court premises on a wheel chair, is facing a four-count charge bothering on corruption.
Also arraigned for money laundering was his Son, Abba, alongside their company, BAM Projects and Properties Limited.
However, they both pleaded not guilty.
The former PDP national chairman and his son were said to have benefited from the ‘largesse’ superintended by the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) ahead of the last general elections.
On his part, Abba, was said to have received N600 million from the EX-NSA, Dasuki in the name of Bam Projects and Properties.
