There is high level of compliance with restriction of movement order in Edo as the electorate go to the polls in today’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Correspondents of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) monitoring the conduct of the elections report that the State Police Command has announced restriction of movement between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
NAN reports that while there is high level of compliance with the order in Edo South and Edo Central, Edo North, however, witnessed low compliance as commercial motorcycle operators conveyed passengers till 8 a.m.
NAN Correspondents also observed that soldiers mounted road blocks within the Benin metropolis while worshippers were seen returning from vigil service to their homes as early as 6 a.m. to beat the restriction order.
