To ensure that Governor Godwin Obaseki is re-elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the September Edo state Governorship Election, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers state has been appointed chairman of the National Campaign Council.
Gov. Wike is to be assisted by his Adamawa state counterpart, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who will serve as the Deputy Chairman.
The appointments were made on Friday by the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) chaired by the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus.
However, Prompt News reliably gathered from the NWC sources that details of the modus operandi of the Campaign Council are expected to be unveiled soon.
