Ebonyi State Emergency Management Agency (EB-SEMA) has distributed relief materials to the victims of Ezza Effium community clash.
The secretary of the Agency, Pastor Nwabueze Ozioma Eze made this known while addressing newsmen in Abakaliki.
According to the secretary, there are no specific numbers of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) but quite a good number have been taken care of with the agency’s relief materials.
He frowned at the increased rate of crises in various nations of the world, saying it is quite unbecoming as he described the time as challenging.
“People we have here are IDPs from Ezza Effium.
“We don’t have an accurate number but we have components of them here present today and we are still expecting more.
“Actually, we just compiled materials waiting for crisis to stop.
“This is one of the most trying times; it’s not just happening in Ebonyi State: we have crisis in America, we crisis in other nations of the world and Nigeria, Ebonyi State is just having their own share of the crisis,” Nwabueze said.
Meanwhile materials distributed include Bags of rice, salt, ground oil amongst others.
