Lions Clubs District Governor for District 404A-4, Nigeria, Lion (Dr) Kofoworola Jegede, PMJF, NLCF, LCIP has rejoiced with Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Maulud Celebration which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad ( SAW).
In her statement of felicitations with Muslim Ummah, the District Governor noted with happiness the love which the Almighty Allah demonstrated by the gift of Prophet Muhammad to mankind as rare and symbolic of what He desires that everyone should be to others.
“The birth of Prophet Muhammad ( SAW) is a priceless gift of Allah to mankind which everyone of us in the Lions Club must emulate by giving freely to the less privileged at making life worth living for others”, the DG said.
While admonishing Lions to always live by the teaching of Prophet Muhammad which centres on peaceful coexistence irrespective of religious inclinations, Dr Jegede stated that every human society needs the crystallization of peace and unconditional love to advance.
“We must allow the love of Allah permeates through our day to day activities. We must show unconditional love not only to ourselves but to the downtrodden. By doing these without any string attached, we will certainly have a better and peaceful society”, she said. READ ALSO:

She therefore called for concerted efforts at ensuring that the love of Allah through Prophet Muhammad ( SAW) endures from age to age.
