President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of a new Comptroller General of Immigration.
The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who made the announcement on Monday night gave the name of the new CGI as Mr. David Paradang, an Assistant Comptroller General (ACG).
Prior to the new appointment, Mr Paradang was ACG in charge of Coordination at the Nigeria Immigration Service headquarters, Abuja.
The CGI who hails from Plateau state is succeeding Mrs. Rose Chinyere Uzoma.
