Nigeria’s confirmed Covid-19 cases have risen to 5,445 with 171 deaths so far.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos recorded the highest number of 179 cases, raising fears across the state.
Kaduna recorded 20 cases while Katsina and Jigawa States recorded 15 cases each.

Prompt News reports that there is however a cheering news that no fewer than 1,320 Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged from the various isolation centres across the country.
