The Falconets of Nigeria fell a disappointing 3-1 loss to Germany at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup on Thursday morning.
The Germans extended their unbeaten streak against the Falconets to six games.
Alara Sehitler scored the curtain raiser for Germany on 17th minute.
Chris Danjuma’s side levelled through Chiamaka Okwuchukwu five minutes after the break
Germany however regained the lead 11 minutes later courtesy of Sofie Zdebel’s fine strike.
Substitute Sarah Ernst added the third in stoppage time
The Falconets will take on Venezuela in their last group game on at the Estadio Olympico Pascual Guerrero, Cali on Sunday.
