The football Club Owners Association of Nigeria has congratulated one of its foremost members Mallam Farouk Yarma on his appointment and confirmation as a commissioner by the Gombe state government and the state house of Assembly.
The Association in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the executive secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka described Farouk Yarma as a committed and hard working sportsman who had devoted greater part of his energy and resources to the development of sports in Gombe state and Nigeria.
The statement added that Mallam Farouk remained one of the finest sports administrators whose passion for sport development led to his becoming a private Club owner( Yarmalight FC), having worked in several capacities in many sectors to enhance the upliftment of sports and youth development.
Club owners urged him to see his new appointment as a call to greater service to humanity and prayed God to grant him the needed wisdom to excel in his new assignment.
