China’s top legislator Zhao Leji said Thursday that China would proactively dock with high-standard international economic and trade rules and build a market-oriented, law-based and internationalised first-class business environment.
Zhao, Chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, made the remarks in a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024.
China will stick to development by opening up, with its doors to be open wider and wider, Zhao said.
Zhao added that the country would continue to shorten its negative list for foreign investment and remove all restrictions on foreign investment access in the manufacturing sector.
China also would make it more convenient for foreigners to work, study and travel in the country, Zhao said. (Xinhua/NAN)
