Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets suffered a 4-2 defeat to Australia in their second game at the Four-Nation Invitational Tournament in China.
It was the Golden Eaglets’ second consecutive loss in the competition, following their 3-2 defeat to Tanzania in the opening fixture.
Uwejamomere Eboboritse’s side have now scored four goals and conceded seven in two matches at the tournament.
The five-time world champions will take on hosts China in their final game of the competition on Saturday.
The invitational tournament is part of the Golden Eaglets’ preparations for the WAFU B U-17 Championship in September.
The WAFU B tournament will serve as the qualifying event for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
