Chelsea remain interested in Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen, Prompt News reports.
The West London club came close to signing the powerful striker in the summer but the move fell through due to Osimhen’s wage demands.
The 25-year-old later joined Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea remain interested in the powerful striker.
“Nothing is happening now regarding Osimhen. Chelsea’s interest remains, and they still admire the player, but there are no ongoing negotiations,” Romano said in his latest Daily Briefing.
“It would also be disrespectful to Galatasaray, who invested significantly to secure him on loan.”
