Sudan head coach Kwesi Appiah has declared that his team will be ready for the encounter with Nigeria, Prompt News reports.
Appiah’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Congo in their opening fixture at the 2024 African Nations Championship on Tuesday.
Sudan will be up against Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles in their next game.
The Group D encounter will hold at the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar next week Tuesday.
The gaffer said his team will prepare adequately for the crucial game.
“We have a week to prepare. That gives me a chance to adjust the team and improve things. We’ll work on our weaknesses and come back stronger against Nigeria.” he told CAFonline.
“The fight is still on, and we’re determined to make a strong comeback.”
