Rivers United zoomed into quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup after they beat Ghana’s Dreams FC 2-1 in Uyo on Sunday night.
The Port Harcourt club were also did a massive favour by Angola’s Academica do Lobito who held Club Africain of Tunisia to a 1-1 draw.
Rivers United had to fight back from an Abdul Aziz Issah in the 40th minute strike to win at home.
Echeta Deputy drew the Port Harcourt level in the 61at minute, before Kazie Godswill fired the priceless match winner with virtually the last kick of the game.

Dreams FC top the standings with same number of points but enjoyed a better goals difference.
Tunisia’s Club Africain finished third in the group after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Academica do Lobito of Angola.
