President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled his scheduled official visit to Ogoni land in Rivers state.
He was billed to flag off the clean up of Ogoni land in line with UNEP report.
This is the second time the President will cancel scheduled official local trip.
He was billed to commission some projects executed by Lagos State Government a couple of weeks ago but canceled it at the eleventh hour.
Vice President Yemi, who represented him in Lagos is also standing for him in Ogoni land.
As at the time of filling this report, no official statement from the Presidency on why the President cancelled the trip.
The Niger Delta has again become volatile in recent times with the activities of the Niger Delta Avengers blowing up oil installations across the region.
