The National Assembly Service Commission rose from its emergency meeting today (Friday), announcing the appointment of acting Clerk and other top management staff.
According to a statement by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Ahmed Kadi Amshi, the appointments are in accordance to “its mandate as provided in the National Assembly Service Act 2014 (as Amended), Section 6(b).
“The National Assembly Service Commission at an emergency meeting held today, Friday, 17th July, 2020 has approved the appointments of some senior management staff for the service.
All the appointments he says take immediate effect.
Those appointed are: Mr. Amos Olatunde Ojo as the Acting Clerk of the National Assembly.
Bala Mohammed as the Acting Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly
Dauda El-ladan as the Acting Clerk of of the Senate
Patrick Giwa to remain as the Clerk of the House of Representatives.
