Nigeria has recorded 34 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 407.
According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the new cases were recorded in Lagos, Kano, Katsina, Delta and Niger States.
“Thirty-four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:
18 Lagos12 in Kano2 in Katsina1 in Delta1 in Niger
“As at 11:20 pm 15th April there are 407 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 128 have been discharged with 12 deaths,” @NCDCgov tweeted late Wednesday night. #TakeResponsibility, #Covid19Nigeria.

Prompt News reports that NCDC has increased the number of molecular laboratory centres from 6 to 13 in three weeks.
Also, molecular laboratories in Sokoto and Port Harcourt are still in progress.
