Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso is optimistic his team will secure a place at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, reports Prompt News.

Bosso team’s and 11 others will compete at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt next month which will serve as qualifier for the mundial.

The four semi-finalists will qualify for the U-20 World Cup in Indonesia later in the year.

“We have had enough time to prepare this team,” a confident Bosso told SCORENigeria.

“The team has taken shape and the No 1 target remains to qualify for the U20 World Cup.”

The Flying Eagles will take on their Zambian counterparts, who have also qualified for the U-20 AFCON, in two warm-up games in Abuja later this month.

The team will then embark on a training tour of Morocco from where they will proceed to Egypt for the U-20 AFCON.
