Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has resumed training with Galatasaray, Prompt News reports.
The prolific forward recently underwent surgery after suffering an arm injury during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Liverpool last month.
Having initially focused on recovery work in the gym, the Nigeria international is now edging closer to full fitness.
Galatasaray shared an update on his progress via an official statement:
“Victor Osimhen trained with the team during the first part of the session and continued his work under a specialized program prepared for him, accompanied by physiotherapists both on the field and in the gym.”
The 27-year-old could be named in the squad for next weekend’s clash against Gençlerbirliği.
Osimhen has been in fine form this season, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists in 19 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds.
