Victor Boniface has been subjected to an unusual series of tests by AC Milan ahead of his transfer to the Serie A club, Prompt News reports.
Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen have sanctioned the Nigeria international’s loan move to AC Milan.
Milan will pay €5m as loan fee, and a further €25m to make the move permanent next summer.
According to Football Italia, the Rooseneri Milan are leaving nothing to chance to make sure the Super Eagles striker is fully fit to withstand the rigours of the Italian top-flight.
Boniface has endured two ACL injuries as well as several other long-term injuries in his career.
The 24-year-old will have more tests on Saturday (today).
He registered 11 goals, and two assists in 27 appearances across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen last season.
