Nigerian duo, Victor Boniface and Frank Onyeka has been named in Bundesliga Team of the Week.
Boniface scored twice and registered an assist in Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-1 victory over TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was named Man of the Match after the game, Prompt News reports.
Onyeka joined Augsburg on a season-long loan deal from Brentford on transfer deadline day.
The defensive midfielder made his debut for Augsburg against St. Pauli on Sunday.
The 26-year-old registered an assist in the keenly contested encounter.
He was replaced by Arne Maier seven minutes from time.
