Bocknor Football Academy have emerged as champions of the 2023 edition of the Gwagwalada League.
In the final of the FA Cup, Bocknor Academy defeated the Sheikhadam FC by a lone goal to make it doubles in Gwagwalada.
In a well-competed final, the Bocknor boys had to rely on a 56th-minute goal by Praise Anayo to seal the victory.
Though the Bocknor boys dominated the encounter for the better part of the game, poor marksmanship in front of the goal deprived them of a major impact.
The FA Cup however marked the end of an eventful season in Gwagwalada Football Council which had included the Bassey U13, Bocknor U15, ECN U17, Gwagwalada League, and the FA Cup.
