Bayelsa Queens will feature in the CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco after they thrashed Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana 3-0 in the WAFU B final playoff, reports Promptnewsonline.com.
All the goals were scored in the first half of the encounter played at the Yammasoukro Stadium.
Miracle Joseph put the Nigerian ladies in front from the penalty spot in the 11th minute.
They doubled their lead in the 19th minute, when exciting U20 international striker Flourish Sebastine hit target.
Chinyere Igboamalu made it 3-0 three minutes to the break.
Bayelsa Queens claimed the title for the first time.
Last year, Rivers Angels featured in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League and crashed out in the group stage.
The competition was won by South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
