The Niger Delta Avengers said forcados 48″ exportline operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company has been blown up again.
According to a tweet on its Twitter handle, the attack was carried out in the early hours of today (Friday).
The militants said they had warned SPDC not to repair the pipeline after it was blown up recently.
“At 3:00 am today @NDAvengers blow up the SPDC forcados 48” Exportline.
“We warned SPDC not to go ahead with repair works but they refuse,” the NDA tweeted.
Prompt News reports that the Avengers had on Thursday vowed to achieve zero oil production in Nigeria after it blown up pipelines between Ogboinbiri and Tebidaba and Clough Creek to Tebidaba.
“At about 2:00am today @NDAvengers blew up the Ogboinbiri to Tebidaba and Clough Creek to Tebidaba Crude Oil pipelines in Bayelsa State.
“This is inline with our promise to all international Oil companies and Indigenous Oil Companies that Nigeria Oil production will be Zero,” the Avengers tweeted on Thursday morning.
In the last couple of weeks, the militants have sustained attacks on oil installations across the Niger Delta, claiming Nigerian Government has refused to meet their demands.
