The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Tuesday said it generated N20 billion and made 72 seizures between January and April. The Comptroller in charge of the command, Mrs Uche Ngozi, disclosed this in Ibadan while briefing newsmen on the achievements recorded in the first quarter of 2020. The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday reported that COVID-19 cases in Africa as at May 19th, had risen to about 86,000. WHO Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, gave the update on its official twitter account @WHOAFRO. “There over 86,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases on the African continent – with more than 33,000 recoveries and 2,700 deaths,’’ it said.
