  The Delta State Government has said that its Internally Generated Revenue has increased from N12.2 billion in 2007 to N45.5 billion in 2012. The Commissioner for Information, Chike Ogeah, made this known to newsmen on the outcome of the State Economic Advisory Committee meeting in Asaba, the state capital, on Friday. Ogeah said the committee observed that the IGR of the state rose from N12.2 billion in 2007 to N37.4 billion in 2011, while in 2012 it increased to N45.5 billion. A government minister in Guinea has been charged in connection with a massacre at a stadium in 2009. Col Claude Pivi is charged with murder, rape and the destruction of property. At least 157 people died in the Conakry stadium when troops attacked people protesting against military rule. Scores of women were raped. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Friday said controversial Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh, risks a minimum of 15 years in jail for encouraging the consumption of hemp. Popular musician, Innocent Idibia, known as TuFace and wife, Annie have been dragged before Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court in Lagos over N120 milllion copytight suit filed by Abuja-based photographer, Emmanuel Okolo. Also joined in the suit is TuFace’s manager, Anthonio Anifite. The photographer is praying the court for six reliefs.
