Vanguard: Rivers State Governor, Chubuike Rotimi Amaechi, has pleaded with the Police Service Commission, PSC, to immediately redeploy the controversial police commissioner, Mbu Joseph Mbu, from the State for his partisanship in the unfolding political crisis in the state. Bolaji Oyegunle, London:  Nigerian diplomats in London owe the British government £3.8 million, about N21 million in parking and congestion fines. Foreign Secretary, William Hague told House of Commons that foreign diplomats owe the British taxpayer a whopping £67million in fines for dodging the congestion charge. Hague released the figures in the annual statements of outstanding fines, penalties and taxes not paid by foreign embassies.     The US has called on Egypt’s army to free deposed President Mohamed Morsi, amid ongoing protests on the first Friday of Ramadan. The appeal echoed a similar call hours earlier from Germany. Rescue efforts are continuing to find the passengers of a train that crashed at Bretigny-sur-Orge, south of Paris, on Friday afternoon. At least six people have been killed and 30 injured, French officials say. The intercity train had just left Paris and was heading towards Limoges when it derailed, crashing into a station platform. Investigations are getting underway into the cause of the accident, which happened at 17:14 (15:14 GMT).
