Nigerian Military High Command has confirmed the killing of the son of Bello Turji, a notorious terrorist leader in a recent clearance operation on his stronghold on Fakai high ground in Zamfara. Counsel to the Chairman of the Honeywell Group, Oba Otudeko, charged with N12.3 billion fraud, on Monday appeared before a Federal High Court in Lagos in protest of the charge. Mr Bode Olanipekun (SAN) told the court that he was protesting because the charge had not been served on Otudeko and two others charged along with him. In it’s latest report on Wednesday, this marks a marginal rise of 0.20% from November 2024’s rate of 34.60%, primarily driven by the increased demand for goods and services during the yuletide. In December 2024, the headline inflation rate of 34.80% was 5.87% higher than the rate recorded in December 2023, which stood at 28.92%.
