Bangladesh has launched a countrywide campaign to distribute vitamin A capsules to around 22 million children between six months and five years of age. A total of 40,000 health workers had been deployed to over 100,000 permanent and makeshift centres across the country to make the campaign a success. European Union on Monday put forward a “temporary emergency measure” which will obligate manufacturers of explosives to prioritise the orders of firms producing ammunition for Ukraine. Japan’s Coast Guard said Monday that all seven divers who went missing in waters north of a coral reef in the southernmost prefecture of Okinawa had been rescued. According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, by 3:00 p.m. local time, the missing divers were located following an aerial search and rescued unharmed. At around 11:50 a.m. a diving instructor said that seven people who had gone diving had gone missing in waters around 600 meters northeast of the Rukan Reef, off Itoman City. The administration of former Kano state governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has spent over N20 billion on 111,687 indigent students for overseas post graduate foreign scholarship in 14 countries. The administration also sponsored potsgraduate students in five private universities, the Nigerian Law School and other internal universities from June 2015 to March 2023.
