Bankole Olowookere’s side thrashed New Zealand 4-1 in their opening game at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on Wednesday. Afolabi showed her quality by bossing the midfield. Kalu signed a two-year contract with Real Betis until 2026, Prompt News reports. The defensive midfielder was a member of Falconets squad to the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica. The youngster also previously played for Nigeria’s women’s U-17 side Flamingos.
