Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has explained how he got the best out Ademola Lookman.
Lookman struggled during his stint at Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
The Nigeria international was loaned out twice by Leipzig.
The 26-year-old has now become a key figure at the Gewiss Stadium.
Lookman was decisive in Atalanta’s Europa League triumph against Bayer Leverkusen last week netting a hat-trick in the final.
“Lookman is a top player today, but he wasn’t before. He was strong, but tended to light up in flashes and at other times would disappear from the game. He was the same in training sessions,” Gasperini was quoted by Football Italia. READ ALSO:
