Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has lauded Ademola Lookman after the winger inspired the side to victory at Empoli on Sunday.
The dazzling winger grabbed a brace as La Dea thrashed their hosts 5-0 in the Serie A encounter.
Gasperini stated that the 27-year-old has become an extraordinary player.
“Lookman has always scored a lot of goals, at least since he joined Atalanta. He has become an extraordinary player, especially when he puts himself at the disposal of the team,”he told a press conference.
“He said that he feels a bond with the fans and I appreciate that very much.”
The Nigeria international has racked up 12 goals and five assists in 20 league appearances for Atalanta this season.
