Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has defended his selection after the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw at Everton on Saturday, Prompt News reports.
Belgium international Leandro Trossard gave the Gunners the lead in the first half.
Iliman Ndiaye however equalised for Everton from the penalty spot two minutes after the break.
Arteta defended his team selection, denying he was rotating given their Champions League quarterfinal first-leg clash with Real Madrid next week.
“Everybody has to be important, has to fill in,” the Spaniard said after the game.
“Not for what was happening on Tuesday, but what happened in training they deserved to start the game.”
The former midfielder also spoke about Bukayo Saka’s performance in the game.
“He is in a much better place. He has played 49 minutes today. He’s in a much better place,” he added.
“Today we have players who have not played together. Let them have the minutes, have the understanding and we will assess who is the best combination for the game.”
