The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja Thursday nullified the election of Senator George Sekibo, representing Rivers East Senatorial District in the Senate.
Senator Sekibo, is a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Also nullified were no fewer than four elections into National Assembly and State House of Assembly.
Osequently, the Court of Appeal has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct rerun elections within 90 days.
Others affected by the judgement are: Kingsley Chinda of the PDP who lost the appeal to Tony Okocha (APC) (Obio Akpor Federal Constituency) and Chidi Wihioka (APC) , who defeated Boniface Emerangwa (PDP) ( Ikwerre/ Emohua Federal Constituency)
In the Port Harcourt II constituency election, the Appeal Court nullified the election of Blessing to pave the way for a rerun against Collins Owhonda of the APC.
The appellant court also ordered for a rerun within 90days time in the appeal filed by Andrew Uchendu.
