The two-time governor of Ogun state and second term Senator representing
Ogun Central Senatorial District, Ibikunle Amosun has formally declared to run for the exalted position of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 general election.
Amosun’s formal Presidential Declaration event took place on Thursday at a colourful occasion held at the prestigious Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Center, Abuja.
Among the dignitaries who attended the event which is still on-going as at the time of this report are Governor of Ekiti state Dr. Kayode Fayemi, serving Senators, Members of the Federal House of Representatives and former top government officials during his regime.
