Super Falcons right-back Michelle Alozie has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with NWSL club, Houston Dash.
The new contract also include an option for another year.
Alozie now has the chance to remain at the club until 2027.
“Michelle has embraced so much of what makes Houston special and we are thrilled that she chose to re-sign with the Dash. Her impact on the field is well documented and we look forward to her continued development for both club and country,” Houston Dash President, Jessica O’Neill told the club’s official website.
“We are also proud of everything Michelle has accomplished off the field and her contributions to our community. Her work in cancer research is remarkable and highlights the vast interests our players bring to the team.”
Alozie said she is delighted to continue her journey with the club.
“Houston will always hold a special place in my heart; this is where I began my professional career and earned so many opportunities to grow on-and-off the field,” she declared
“I’m optimistic about the future of the organization and want to contribute to this club’s success. I am cognizant of the work ahead and I’m thrilled to be a part of this team for years to come.”
The right-back has appeared in 54 games across all competitions for Dash since her arrival at the club.
She has scored six goals and tallied two assists.
