Godwin Kingsley, Lafia Nasarawa State Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has called on eligible Nigerians to register in the on-going All Progressives Congress, APC, membership registration in order to salvage the country from the evil that has bedeviled the country for years.
The Governor made the call after his registration at the Lungu/Wambai ward in Lafia Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, this is the first time any party in Nigeria will be going digital in its party registration.
He posited that the APC stands for love of the masses which informed why his registration coincided with the Valentine’s Day celebration.
The governor added that the APC have confidence in Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), that is why the presentation of the voter’s registration card is a prerequisite for the party’s registration.
When asked to comment on the early release of 2015 election time-table by INEC, Governor Al-Makura said he would align himself with the position of his party’s leadership.
