Montpellier forward Jerome Akor has been named in Ligue 1 Team of the Week.
Akor bagged a brace in Montpellier’s 3-0 victory over Toulouse on Sunday.
The 23-year-old scored his side’s first and third goal of the game.
The former Flying Eagles striker has so far scored seven goals in nine league appearances for Montpellier.
Meanwhile, Akor has reflected on his side’s win against Toulouse.
He said: “I salute the performance of the team, the decisive passers; I did not achieve this double alone, nor the previous ones. Joris Chotard and Téji Savanier in particular,” he told France Bleu. READ ALSO:
