Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria, has held its 15th convocation ceremony during which degrees were awarded to Undergraduates, Masters and PhD holders.
The two-day convocation ceremony, which ended on Thursday, November 30, 2023, also featured donations to the University N5 Billion Endowment Fund.
In his address, the Pro Chancellor, who also doubles as Chairman of Council Dr. Tunde Afolabi, challenged the graduands to go into the world and make changes with all the knowledge and expertise they are equipped with from the University.
Dr. Afolabi, applauded the great work done by the past University Council headed by Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) who is now the Chairman, Board of Trustees.
He announced that the new Council has approved a 30% salary increase of staff so as to boost the morale of the entire workforce and build better capacity aimed at achieving the goals of the founding fathers.
On his part, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo charged the new graduands to join the alumni association in order to roll back into the growth of the University.
On Thursday, 30 Doctorate Degrees holders (PhD) received honours amongst who are Dr Bobade from the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan and Dr Emokhare Paul Anthony, Station Manager of University of Ibadan Campus Radio, Diamond FM.
Dr. Emohkare, who bagged a PhD in Communication and Media Studies, recounted his experience while pursuing the program, thanking God for foreseeing him through. READ ALSO:

He appreciated every member of the University especially the supervisors for impacting knowledge and giving them an enabling environment to learn and go through the years of study.
