Ahmed Musa grabbed a brace on his return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) as Kano Pillars defeated Sunshine Stars 2-0 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Sunday night.

The forward also missed a penalty in the game, Prompt News reports.

Musa opened scoring against Sunshine Stars after just five minutes, before he doubled the lead in the 51st minute.

He had a chance to complete his hat-trick on 70 minutes, but his penalty came off the post.

The win was Pillars’ second in the NPFL this season.

Usman Abdallah’s side now have seven points from five matches.
