Players of seven-time Nigeria league champions, Rangers International F.C have intensified their training as the close camping exercise continues inside the main bowl of U.N.N stadium, Nsukka, ahead of the 2021/2022 football season under the watchful eyes of coach Mbwas Mangut.
At the Saturday, October 16, 2021 session, players were taken through a lot of drills and they responded well to the drills as coach Mangut and his deputies, Benedict Ugwu and Tony Donwa monitored various drills.
Captain of the side, Tope Olusesi said after the day’s program, “The program is going well and players are responding well to the various drills set up by the coach.
“I strongly believe that we have a crop of players that are willing to give their all to help us achieve our set target this season. By God’s special grace, we shall end the season on a high.”
Coach Mangut on his part, said, “The players are responding well to training and I believe that before the start of the season, we shall be at the level I expect them to be to effectively challenge for both the league and Aiteo cup.”
