Enyimba have been denied safe passage to Morocco for their African Football League clash against Wydad Athletic Club.
The Nigerian champions couldn’t make the trip to Casablanca on Monday night as earlier scheduled after the Moroccan Authorities failed to issue a landed permit for a chattered aircraft from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The players and their officials returned back to their hotel early this morning after spending close to seven hours in the chattered aircraft awaiting landing permit from the Moroccan Authorities for it to take off.
Enyimba lost the first leg at home 1-0 to Wydad at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The reverse fixture will take place at the Mohamed V Stadium, Casablanca. READ ALSO:
