Nigeria’s Super Eagles have jetted out to Benghazi for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter against Libya.
The players and their officials travelled to the North African country via a chartered aircraft from the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo on Sunday.
The contingent had a brief stopover in Kano before proceeding on their trip.
The Super Eagles defeated the Mediterranean Knights 1-0 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday.
Tuesday’s encounter will hold at the 10,000-capacity stadium in Benina, which is 19 kilometres from Benghazi.
The stadium has an artificial turf which might not be suitable for Nigeria’s foreign-based stars, Prompt News reports.
A win for Augustine Eguavoen’s side will see them secure a berth at the AFCON 2025 finals.
The highly anticipated encounter will kick-off at 8pm Nigeria time.
