Super Eagles caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen says the team will fight hard to secure maximum points in their upcoming clash against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
The West Africans will head into the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday three encounter in buoyant mood having recorded four points from two games in Group D.
Libya occupy bottom spot in the group with one point from same number of matches.
“They (Libya) have one point and are bottom of the group. We are aware of our position and they are aware of their position,” Eguavoen told the Super Eagles media.
“They will come here and fight. We are not thinking about the away game, our focus is the game in front of us on Friday.
“We will fight for the three points. We know what it means to get the job done as quickly as possible.
“It is going to be tough but the boys the are in good spirit. We have no injury and everyone is ready.”
