Ola Aina is a major doubt for the Super Eagles 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin and Rwanda.
The 26-year-old copped a calf injury in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League opening fixture against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Aina limped off the pitch due to the setback .
The defender was replaced by Harry Toffolo in the 54th minute.
The Super Eagles will host neighbours Benin at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, September 7.
The West Africans will be up against Rwanda three days later at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.
