Royal Antwerp midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf has replaced Wilfred Ndidi in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ndidi missed Leicester City’s 4-1 home win against Huddersfield Town on New Year’s Day.
The Foxes manager, Enzo Maresca revealed after the game that the player is nursing an injury.
Yusuf, who was on the provisional 41-man list will now take his place in the team.
The 23-year-old is now expected to link up with the team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Wednesday (today). READ ALSO:
